My brother has a stock VZ SS L98 6.0ute and it always has about half a car length infront of me everytime and this was when my car was just a stock BF XR6t both cars had 60,000kms on them his being a 6 speed manual and mine being a 6 speed auto it makes it a bit hard to judge.

But anyway, Expensive Daewoo VZ SS ute = lighter and 270kw my BF xr6t = heavier 245kw but the torque is about the same on the both of em.

Expensive Daewoo just make a slightly faster car :beerchug: end of story :)

what??? either he spun the wheels for 1/2 track or waited 2 seconds before hitting the gas. a t with over 500rwkw will do easy 10's...

It was my F6 and no it won't.

For a start, I didn't want to break anything. You can't use anywhere near full throttle, it was a manual, it would wheelspin all through third if you wanted and I gave up pretty well straight away. Waste of time. The 128MPH was run after buggerising around until half track when I rolled it on in fourth so yep, it had some power.

hmmmmm. so what e.t. would a car that 'rolls' through the traps at 128mph likely run?

If it was an auto and had something other than 275 street tyres, you would I daresay be staring down a 10 at least.

Mine was in full street trim and a manual. Useful as tits on a bull at a drag strip but bucketloads of fun just to drive around!

If you're going to do it wrong that's a the RIGHT way to do it! 2.5x the rwkw of stock. What cars :D

I've posted about seeing a stock BFII with ZF take both VE SSes that it has run against previously, but it's unknown if they were manual and unable to shift well enough. I'd expect them to win against a stock BF2...well, expected

Mate, taxi's could beat me to 80km/hr! But I guarantee they weren't having as much much trying to control a beast of a thing! I used to wheelspin past most things through third and fourth. Aaaah, the memories.

yeah My mate has a ve ss stock and I have fg xr6t ute stock standard and he has me of the line but as soon as I hit second im all over it and then third he is eating my dust ...So I would say a 260rwkw would definetly beat one mate.......

Well guys,

My mate with the VE SS is still to have a crack at the T. I think he is all mouth. But, had a VZ SS 297kw ute pull up next to me 2 days ago. I was then thinking that if I am quicker than this my mate has no chance.

Well after keeping up with him while I still had wheel spin the car finally gained grip and the T rained supreme.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

Regards Stoney.
