well that didn't do anything for mine,

I cant take any incoming calls, my stereo just makes a high pitched noise when I get a call, or jumps from phone to stereo when I make a call... . GRRRR! is there anything that can be done? maybe we can make up a different module!

I've just added a jailbroken app which allows me to disable individual bluetooth protocols.

Now I've diabled the A2DP and remote protocols, leaving the handsfree protocol active it's working perfectly again in my BF.

Not sure if that would help the FG owners though.

I had my G6ET in for a service today and one of the problems I got them to fix for me was that the phone option in the menu had disappeared. They reset it for me.

I mentioned that I had an iphone and he stated that presently these were not compatible (even though it works sometimes and not others) and this can cause the Bluetooth system to freeze which it had done in my case.

However, he did state that Ford have developed a device for iPhone's in particular and this will be released in the coming weeks. He further stated that it was not just a software upgrade for the ICC but a device installed in the vehicle. It will cost around $80 and will not be included and will have to be purchased. He has received one for him to have a look at and for training purposes and will be taking orders upon Ford's announcement shortly.

I am starting to think that this is just a Ford Branded Bluetooth device rather than anything flash.

So for iPhone users keep your eyes out for it and hopefully it will fix all our problems.

Does anyone have a jailbroken iPhone and has this issue with their FG?

I'd be interested to see if the app I used fixes the problem.

OK Guys

I have done some testing on my May 09 FG with Bluetooth

If I turn the car on whil the Iphone is in sleep mode(Screen is black), the car seems to connect the icon goes blue but I cannot recieve calls via the car bluetooth correctly. Infact the Iphone simply refuses to take calls correctly.

If I turn the car on while the Iphone is awake (Icon screen is shown), the car connects and all is perfect.

I have repeted this test 10 times the result is the same.

Can someone test there car to see if all is ok if you start the car while the Iphone is awake......

I am sure that the Ford command center does not connect correctly if Iphone is not awake

James

I have a Fg with the tech pac.

My phone is a nokia 65 and it worked great for a month.

But now if I try to use the wheel button to answer an incoming call it hangs it up. And now it does not display who is calling. Otherwise its fine. Makes out going and call back fine its just the incoming and called info.

I booked in to have it done on tuesday, the only thing that wont work he said was voice dialing and third party calls. he said that on the list of compatable phones were apple iphone and blackberry plus some others. he didnt mention wether or not there was a charge. mine is a late september g6 limited , using a iphone 3gs and it has never worked . will post after tuesday to let u all know how it goes
