Cant see why not, we are busy collecting and uploading files into the database now. Many are added, many to go :)

I've got a whole heap of 5R29-7J105-xx hex's and a couple of 8R29-7J105-xx's...

Plus a few others I've manually read...

Forgive me if I'm way off, but does this mean you will now be able to take a ZF6 from say an XR8, stick it in a Turbo and reflash it to work? Or get a compatible valve body from another 6HP26, stick it in and same deal, flash it to work with the car's PCM?

No the only way this can be done is to retain the existing TCM as it is vid locked to the existing vehicle that is going to be tuned.

Wow...nice of you to pop-up at such an opportune time SCT. :spit:

While you're here how about a comment on this point:

All of the information I am getting on the XCal3 is that there is no requirement to change any time soon. It would seem to be supported in Australia indefinitely

Can you give an iron-clad guarantee that you will not ever lock users out of their xcal2/3 as was done in the past?

xcal2 won't be able to tune the zf, only xcal3 can. so everyone who has a xcal2 has to upgrade to a xcal3. pretty sure there's a few with the xcal2 on here. so you have to buy the xcal3 $695-$795, then pay for a retune around $1000. gonna be alot of unhappy people. street tuner posted it up on page 4 post 71.

everyone seems to get it except me. Once the tuning is made available in two weeks :sleepystuff: how much better will the drivability be than it already is.

Who wil benefit most from the changes,

I just think look how good the ZF is now imagine after it's be fully tweaked..

But I'm thinkin they will release the software for the X3, everyone will go out and buy them then two weeks later the X4 will come out and be a million times betterbangcomputer.gif
