I am one of many who paid good money ($1100) years ago for xcal 1 to be SHAFTED by them when they no longer supported the product anymore and made my unit useless! ratter Member 6,793 Member For: 18y 6m 26d Gender: Male Location: @ my laptop Posted 01/05/11 02:03 AM Share Posted 01/05/11 02:03 AM Everyones entitled to their own opinion, but this has not been brought on by Herrods, Herrods have been working hard on getting this working and iun fact have auto tunes in their own cars, they are having issues at present and will not release the ZF stuff until it's reliable as I'm sure if they released it early and then PCMs were damaged by the flash process etc, their would be many unhappy people.I read a thread, not sure if it was on this forum or another about somebody getting a tech from ZF to do a flash under warranty on their ZF and the Tech from ZF was having all sorts os issues to get it to flash, this possibly might be what Herrods are facing at present, not sure.The original 2 week claim was made by a previuos distirbutor more than 2 years ago, I do not believe Herrods have released a date at all except recently they said it would be soon. You need to remember that not even Ford can access all of the TCM information. Only ZF has full control, so reverse engineering all that will take quite some time, not to mention money.
