Upgrade Being Done This Weekend... Question Though?

Hi Guys.

Well tis weekend is when I replace the dead turbo with the new one.

At the same time im putting in the new 60lb injectors the GSS342 fuel pump the HDi Intercooler and the ETM Oil line..

All done by my best mates and me. Theyre all diesel mechanics haha.

Question is... I have a 60 pound tune done for my car... will it run fine on that or should I take straight to tuners after?

1.a) you take it to the tuners, and it needs a retune

1.b) you take it to the tuners, and give it a dyno run and all is fine

or

2.a) you dont take it to the tuners, it runs lean and blows a motor

2.b) you dont take it to the tuners and it could be fine

what one sounds better?

Yeh I was assuming that... But id still be able to drive it to the tuners if it has a 60 pound tune right?

you should be able to.. just keep it off boost till you get there.

wire your wastegate open and drive it to your tuners asap.

Would it be a better idea to leave installing the injectors until I get there then get him to do? Or would I still have problems with the larger fuel pump?

u shuld be fine aslong as u dnt boost it til get to the tuners. drive it slow

How far is the tuners from your house?

I would be paying for a tow if it wasnt too far, better to be safe than sorry.

Drive it hard and fast to the tuners, if you get there no worries, then why pay to get it checked out its fine, or alternatively if it blows on the way, well you have saved money on a tow as you are closer to the tuner. either way win win.
