I just got one of the nuline kits off ebay and wanted to know how you guys have replaced the water pump pulley without taking the water pump out?

I've read on other threads that you have to get the water pump pulley in the same position as the old one or it can cause more problems

Think there's a special tool to do it but I might be thinking of anther pulley.

I just replaced my idler and belt tensioner pulleys with nuline metal ones. had a look for that pulley tool and found this beauty

retails $246 here but found it for $120ish posted from the US on eBay

next on the list is the water pump pulley which came with the nuline kit then a metal power steering pulley. found this on ebay too:

I still can't believe Ford put plastic pulleys from factory, ffs this cost saving crap actually undermines safety and reliability in these cars
