SERIOUSLY CHANGE YOUR NAME!!!Player... mad dog it, im Leb, and not even close to having a name like 'Player" - mate, might be a start, and help people to take you a little more seriously...If you want to build a ITX based system, NP - re connection to the ICC Screen, depends which ICC you have as to what you will be able to get out of it, however assuming you have covered all this already, your best bet (cost effective) is to look at an old school GPU card which you will find is used in many of the old school arcade systems. Its one of the very few card which is able to output a 15khz refresh...Issue you will find is a Mainboard which is current and able to copy with the AGPx1 card (from memory they are generally a AGP1 card)... So you might actually end up with a 2nd hand ATX board... and older P4 style cpu...I did come across a weblink a few months back that had a few of these card in stock, however seriously cant remember for the life of me what the URL was. Think the company may have been based in Melbourne, or even Brisbane...Anyways hope this helps...

I found there were very little motorised 7inch touch screens with VGA input that I could use instead. I also run a touch screen overlay on the factory ICC, allows me to control the laptop with out the need of a keyboard or mouse works a treat in Centrafuse. Its really up to you on what path you go down, but if your after high quality HD video in your car I recommend you get a aftermarket screen. But if you want the stock look and a good screen with ok quality grab your self a VGA - CGA converter and a touch screen overlay for it.

Didnt say the screen was. I said a carputer is capable of that. Many in-dash blu-ray players on the market? The monitor(s) intended for the rear would be, but its just for the kids so dont care.Your heading in this thread and your first posts stands to believe that you were talking about connecting to the ICC! You then state in your third post that the quality will be much better if played in 720 or 1080 yet you do not mention using another video source apart from the ICC Anyway good luck with it. You get PCI-Express versions, just check on their site Edited 15/06/09 03:45 AM by MrBean
