You have a CAPA box? If so you should be able to reinsert, only thing I have really heard of is the fact that it will try and reprogram itself setting levels and such. Happened to a mate had to take to Ford to reprogram or something, didnt happen to me when I did it though.

You should be fine. I have a custom tune on mine and have disconnected it heaps of times. It clears the Keep Alive Memory (KAM), but that's about it.

ive got an xcal 2 ... do I just plug it in and reload the tune??

im sure the tune hasnt been affected but yeah I guess it wouldnt hurt to reload it for peice of mind..

Yes, if you think your tune is out of whack, plug it in with ignition off and follow instructions on screen once you hit upload tune. I have an xcal 3.
