At the APS day in Melbourne the ute attracted a great deal of interest and everyone thought it would be worth a trip to Calder Park to see them try to get that 10 sec run down the quarter they were aiming for and to see it give those gen3's a butt kicking! :D

It will take some time before the total product is tested, through engineering and then available to customers. As for the 10 second pass, it's easier said than done - without NOS that is!We are running behind time on the project, but will try to have it ready for Friday night at Calder. - Can't make any promises right now, but we will do our best. Lifetime Members 10,282 Member For: 21y 7m 9d Gender: Male Location: Victoria Posted 06/09/03 12:16 PM Share Posted 06/09/03 12:16 PM I went to Calder it rained as I was pulling into the ground at about 7pm. You don't get a refund as such if it rains but you can uses your ticket stub to get into the next event for free if the night is called off. Not a lot of BA's there, one GT and a XR6T ute, there was more VX/VY's a little disappointing. Highlight of the night, a Maloo with some strange pod type things on the hard cover getting flogged by an AU XR8 ute, he got excited and bagged them up while the XR8 just screamed away. And even though it's a holden, a VL turbo with a serious intercooler on the front running a 9.90 , clearly modified but even so I didn't think they had that ability!
