Just wondering if BLKXRT or Peter from APS can shed any light on the proposed project Blueprint Ute that was to be modified and run at Calder this week?

Yes if someone could provide some information on this it would be greatly appreciated. At the APS day in Melbourne the ute attracted a great deal of interest and everyone thought it would be worth a trip to Calder Park to see them try to get that 10 sec run down the quarter they were aiming for and to see it give those gen3's a butt kicking! :D

The Blueprint Ute is the APS development mule for the Phase IV system (450 kW). It will take some time before the total product is tested, through engineering and then available to customers.

As for the 10 second pass, it's easier said than done - without NOS that is!

We are running behind time on the project, but will try to have it ready for Friday night at Calder. - Can't make any promises right now, but we will do our best.

please let us during tomorrow how the blue-bullet is going .... and whether or not you are running tomorrow night at Calder

sub12s would be good .... sub11s even better .... we don't want to put too much pressure on you to perform ;)

you say the word and the squad of XRTs will be there :D

I think the rain might have been a clue .... no refunds for spectators ($17 pffft) though the entrants get a "rain cheque"

the squad will be there on a couple of hours notice .... a little tail wind always helps

I went to Calder it rained as I was pulling into the ground at about 7pm. You don't get a refund as such if it rains but you can uses your ticket stub to get into the next event for free if the night is called off. Not a lot of BA's there, one GT and a XR6T ute, there was more VX/VY's a little disappointing. Highlight of the night, a Maloo with some strange pod type things on the hard cover getting flogged by an AU XR8 ute, he got excited and bagged them up while the XR8 just screamed away. And even though it's a holden, a VL turbo with a serious intercooler on the front running a 9.90  , clearly modified but even so I didn't think they had that ability!
