just wondering if anyone has used these before?

and if so was it for track work or drags?

I was wondering what a set would go like on the drag strip compared to MT's or Federal RS-R's...

cheers.

Dude, Not used the K36, but did have the KU31 and the bastards split...

chucked them on the back to wear them out a bit quicker, but now they are just to hard for the phoon and the beast slides everywhere...

thinking wear... GREAT... quality Crap as, and grip... nope far far far to hard!!!

But again, not the 36 so not sure... If they are anything like the 31's... forget it!

they are not proper semi-slicks, they are like sem-semi-slicks

so like semi r-comps.

saying that, around Wanneroo/Barbagallo raceway, they are only 1 second a lap slower than the RE55s **

yes, I have them on now, Tocchi is correct......they arent equivalent to a RE55 or R888 but better than a street tyre.......maybe like the RE001 but much cheaper, a very good street tyre.

I like them and will be getting them on the circuit next month.

I have used them at the circuit and they are fantastic bang for your buck. Not quite as sticky as an R spec semi slick but stickier than just about any road tyre. More similar to the 595RSR than the MT's. MT's would be better for drags. However at under 20psi the KU36 may be ok at the drags as I found the sidewalls not as stiff as a usual circuit focused street tyre like the Falken Azenis, which may help traction at the drags.

You can find the KU36 really cheap if you look hard enough which make it a good choice.

I put these on my car the other day and so far im stoked at their performance.

Sure they arent as good as the R888/RE55's I've driven on but for a streeter, they I'm told they are great BFYB

You can in no way compare RE55 to KU36.

For starters the RE55 are sh*t on the oroad unless you bake them hard and are not a road tyre where the KU36 are.

Hence why I didnt compare em.... Merely just saying of course they arent as grippy as a true racing tyre

Its like comparing apples and oranges.

Hey Erko,

What size have you got the KU36's in?
