I.E have a dedicated "E85 tune" on their flash tune box?I'm interested to see what sort of power can be made and what sort of savings they are making.Unfortunately, I can't find E85 fuel anywhere in Sydney. Its not too much of an issue with the flash tuner cos it can store multiple tunes, but you would have to make sure the tank was very empty when changing from either fuel. From what I have read the Siemens Deka injectors are good for up to say 450rwkw in the falcon, but you'd be more likely to just reach high 300's running E85. Something to keep in mind! Wifes 4wd my old man runs his liberty gt on it I re built my dirt bike to run it with a 13:1 piston and f*ck its got more power now. Oh + the lawn mower whipper snopper and chainsaw.Once you tune to it once your hooked.I have a tank for the back of my ute and I just fill up 200 litres every time im coming back from near there and hold it in 44s. with higher comp engines you can get better economy but for sh*t box motors designed for CRAPPY petrol you get 15 -30 % worse.Dont forgett you get more torque and that helps with economy. If any ones wants a tune on it let me know because Dynowog from Vic is coming up soon to do some tunning . And I am pretty sure he can get you great economy out of it as the higher octane allows you to run it lean on cruise.
