The venting so bad that the can would fill up the catch can after a few runs down the quarter mile, but that was due to the setup I was running which I will talk about another time. There is a bit of science when draining the catch can back into the sump to prevent pressure going back up the drain hose back into the can. One method is the make the drain hose big enough, another is to have a check valve. Good quality check valves arnt cheap though. Have a read of that article I posted as a link, should explain more. I have fitted a catch can to my XRT a few months back, the oil hasnt even registered on the sight gauge on the side of the tank yet. I dont think the venting oil vapour is nearly bad enough to drain back to the sump. Maybe when you are running very high boost or have a high km engine. Id put the catch can in without a drain and monitor how much it collects before you invest time and money in a drain back to the sump.

It Probably is on a catch can too but at least you can hide it.
