I already have the fairlane, its a ba 6 cyl with 150 000 on it, and while its been looked after and hasnt had any problems you probably wouldnt get 10 000 dollars for it. its actually my old mans car and he's decided to keep it because its worth a lot more to him than its resale value and also he's owned 3 fairlanes and loved them and is a bit annoyed at ford for dropping the line, sort of a stubborn loyalty I guess. he decided that he will keep it so he has had new bilstein shocks and swaybars put in as well as new bushes to fix the few squeaks and rattles it's developed in the last couple years. I leant him my car (fg turbo ute) while that was done, and now he wants to turbocharge his, I thought that it would be better to transplant a ba or bf motor seeing as ford has already done all the work and a falcon and fairlane are pretty much identical from the b pillar foward. and theres the fact that the current engine is starting to age.

I actually meant ask him how he did it. If he did it himself he probably has all the answers for you.
