Ok guys I'm after some honest thoughts.

I found a F6 ute in a car yard up here in CQ with 61-62k kms on the clock and they are asking $35990 for it, with a full fluids change (engine, gearbox, diff, brake and clutch) , 6 month rego, and local performance mob to do the work for the RWC and then put it back the way it was.

The mods.

Factory Options

− Leather Interior

− Sports Steering Wheel

− FPV Floor Mats

− Window Tint

Engine / Driveline Modifications

− Capa Flash Tuner.

− Nizpro Hi-flow Injectors.

− Walbro Fuel Pump.

− Custom 3.5 inch Dump Pipe.

− 3.5 inch Metal Cat.

− Custom 3.5 inch Exhaust.

− Custom Race Muffler.

− Nizpro Intercooler.

− Nizpro Intercooler Piping.

− Carbon Fiber Air Box.

− Herrod Suresix Shifter.

− Custom Tuned by Elite Automotive.

Exterior Modifications

− GT-P 19 inch Wheels.

− Brute Ute Racing Suspension.

− Custom Hard Cover.

− Carbon Fiber Rear Wing.

Interior Modifications

− Pole Position Tripod & X-Force Gauges.

The ute is in great condition and drives beautifully. I'm not getting a great trade in on my BF N/a XR6 ute ($19000 with 75K on the clock) so I was just after some advice thoughts as to what I should do. The work has been carried out buy Elite and RDP as far as I know. I have talked with hoops about it but wanted some more thoughts.

What things should I be looking for when buying something like this, such as common issues.

Cheers in advance

Cameron

Hoops looked after that ute like it was his baby, it was immaculately maintained and would be an awesome buy. Considering how much time went into the vehicle I see that as being great value for money.

Howsee

Performance ones alone would be at least $8000 worth I would guess, wouldn't know about the visual mods though. With regards as to what to look for have it checked over by a good mechanic just to be sure.

that's the thing I'm up in gladstone, I'm from emerald, and the performance shop here reckons it has had a hard life, is in bad need for a service and blows a bit of smoke on decel (engine braking). I took if for a drive and I couldn't see any smoke at all, the gearbox feels nice and tight, pulled the dip stick and it could do with an oil change as it is a bit dark, but was a dream to drive. It was comfortable putting around in a low gear not on boost and was more than happy on boost ..... so yeah the more I could look at myself the better.... I just need some direction as to what to look for.

I didn't take a lot of notice of a noisy turbo after turn off, maybe this is a start...
