The ute is in great condition and drives beautifully. I'm not getting a great trade in on my BF N/a XR6 ute ($19000 with 75K on the clock) so I was just after some advice thoughts as to what I should do. The work has been carried out buy Elite and RDP as far as I know. I have talked with hoops about it but wanted some more thoughts. What things should I be looking for when buying something like this, such as common issues.Cheers in advanceCameron Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/58025-advice-on-a-ba-f6-ute/ Share on other sites

Considering how much time went into the vehicle I see that as being great value for money. With regards as to what to look for have it checked over by a good mechanic just to be sure. I took if for a drive and I couldn't see any smoke at all, the gearbox feels nice and tight, pulled the dip stick and it could do with an oil change as it is a bit dark, but was a dream to drive. It was comfortable putting around in a low gear not on boost and was more than happy on boost ..... so yeah the more I could look at myself the better.... I just need some direction as to what to look for.I didn't take a lot of notice of a noisy turbo after turn off, maybe this is a start...
