When I eventually choose an FG (buying 2nd hand) if I get one with the premium sound pack...is that good enough? If I do want to upgrade the sound system, is it easier to do that with the standard sound system? Based on other posts, I believe the colour screen is only available with the luxury pack and not the premium sound pack correct? Appreciate any info and advice guys! CheersMish

The speakers with the premo are alright for a standed feature, I give em hell and there still working.

Updated sub with a Rockford Fosgate Punch (P2D28), makes a big difference, without going overboard.Direct bolt up for the OEM pos.

Or change the unit, leave the colour screen and upgrade the speakers?

Mish Member 84 Member For: 15y 7m Gender: Male Location: Canberra Posted 02/06/09 11:26 PM Author Share Posted 02/06/09 11:26 PM Okay so it is possible to hook up a DVD player to the existing colour screen. Which I'm guessing would be easier then upgrading the standard screen. Could the upgraded screen still show all the original info...like temp climate control etc? However I am more the guy who will rock up to a sound shop and say fix it and give them a fat wad of cash...although I do have a lot of mates who are really good at this stuff to actually! Guess it'll give me the chance to learn as well.Oh, and that's another thing...I don't use a bloody Ipod! How bout MP3 player hook-up rather then only Ipod...sh*t's me a bit!
