I paid $360 a corner from Tyre Power & the stock dunlops were $380. The tread wear rating for the T1Rs are 280 where the stock dunlops are 240 and the higher the rating the better, I havn't noticed any bad road noise since I first got rid of the dunlops. I think they will wear a little quicker than the 452's but that's to be expected with the extra grip. Very good in the wet and are VERY quite. I have run 500+ RWHP for years and tried alot of different types of tyres. I use good wearing on the fronts and a softish compound on the front.Its also not a matter of how soft the compound is either. Compounds have come along way in the last five years that have improved grip heaps also.I once put the stocky fronts on the rear and basically couldnt move the car. It would slide everywhere in every gear and not safe.Grippy rears improve safety heaps also on a powerfull car. Much more predictable and you actually go somewhere when you put your foot down.The Toyo TR1 is an excellent tyre as mentioned above. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
