I just got a aftermarket transmission pan installed on my auto today which should cool the transmission fluid more and strengthen the case up a bit. It even has a drain plug! It takes the standard gasket and filter.

Is that a standard oil capacity pan? If it is one with a deeper sump for a bit of extra volume would of been better

True Lolly, but a deeper pan also holds more fluid as well as more external surface area both aiding in better heat transfer. It also will allow for filter/pickup extension deeper in the pan for those hi KW hard launch vehicles that could previously momentarily run dry after the initial launch.Imo
