Windows and Mirrors ... Windex a plenty. Don't like the small bits of paper towel left behind though.

Instead of using paper towel, use newpaper, there's plenty of the stuff around, its for free and works much much better than paper towels.

Another curve ball.

A small amount of Baby Shampoo diluted in water, rather than Windex wont leave the streaks.

No wonder you don't take so long to wash...

You don't do the full job.

What happened to polish? Blacken vynil and rubber, windows, mirrors?

Exhaust tip polish?

Polish? ... that's why I got ming protection.

Vinyl and Rubber ... done. just love that paint brush. :oooh:

Windows and Mirrors ... Windex a plenty. Don't like the small bits of paper towel left behind though.

Exhaust tip polish ... got me there, what do you use?

Exhaust tip polish........meguires polish does just a good a job. I use it on the whole rear muffler as its all stainless steel....looks schmick :oooh:

If you've got window tinting wouldn't recommend Windex, tint hates ammonia, Meguires window cleaner is the only stuff to use with a piece of towelling. Makes the job easier and quicker too

Ken, you never mentioned the armouralling the tyre valve caps, inside the wheel arches, buffing the chrome tow ball, dusting the tow bar power plug.

Man.......any excuse for another ale!! :D

The cheap alternative is to rinse your windows with clean warm water with a few drops of household vinegar, and then dry off with newspaper - never get streaks again.....

I am Not guilty on the first count, but guilty as charged on the other three.

No wonder she looks at me funny when I am washing the car.

Al,

You could always use the clear Windex, its ammonia free for use on coated glass. l find using newspaper, or even better a slightly damp thin sponge (the kitchen type) works very well too.
