Xr6t Front Bar - Typhoon.

Not seen my car in over 11 weeks, its at a smash repairer awaiting a front bar. It`s a BF Typhoon.. Ford adise 22 June delivery of the new plastics maybe. These new ones could well be crap and get sent back like the last lot.

I`ve fully had the sh*ts with waiting, if its going to be another 2 months sitting in a smash repair place sucking up bog dust, om bringin` it `ome..

So! Can I fit a T front bar with out hacking the sh*tter`a out of the car or what.. I could get other crap I want done to it while I wait for the Phoon bar to show.

I could drive the f*cking thing even..

Please no posts saying maybe, I`d like to hear from people who have perhaps fitted a genuine phoon bar to a T.

Any issues? I`ve heard there might be hacking? Can I fenangle it on there good enough with out structural bastardry?

I`ve been graciously offered a XR8 bumper as a temporary loaner.

Hi Spin, sorry to hear about your car mate!!!!!!!!! I have a BA typhoon bar with top mesh, but no foggies you can borrow man til you get yours back. Its black though. Call me if you wanna borrow it. If you shag it you own it :stupid2:

There`d be those who`d argue that a BA Typhoon front bar wouldn`t fit inside a Daewoo Cielo, FPV_Steve and I dispelled that myth once and for all today

I just gotta round up some fasterners and bolts and we`re gold.

It`ll hold a number plate and that's all I want, for it to look human enough to get to a couple appointments.

Its not finished, so I`m not going to drive as though it were..

Okay here she be.. Its a BF Typhoon - BA Phoon tranny!

Actually I`m likin` how good the new fpv plate looks on the black bumper.. Maybe I`ll do some black flames with silver tips when the new bar goes on? Maybe I won`t too..

That wheel has been repaired and it looks awesome. My drivers side front wheel has had a dodgy 21mm sized wheel nut from when I bought it.. All th e others are 13/16`s. I dunno why but the panel beater has taken his name literally and smashed the piss out of the area around that 21 mm nut, big arse gouges and chips man, not happy at all..

I must however, accept that the car is unfinished, I just sauntered into the shop and said be f*cked this thing is sucking up bog dust like a hoover for 2 months ( min ) while we wait for a correct bumper, put it on a tilt bed.

But, they will get a list of WTF is this sh*t? To go over..

Haha, I had a few people tell me the same thing about a BF XR bar and a Hyundai Getz!
