Just had my first attempt at some HDR using my g/f's Canon EOS 1000D.

I'm using Photomatix Pro to composite them together as I've read that it produces better results than Photoshop and is easier to use.

Here's what I came up with last night after playing around in Photomatix for 10 or 15 minutes. I was surprised at the results considering I had very little idea what I was doing.

Can't wait to wash the T this weekend and go snap myself a couple of new wallpapers.

If anyone has a Digital SLR that has an Autobracketing function and is keen to have a crack, there is a tutorial on the basics of HDR found here and Photomatix Pro can easily be downloaded and a serial key... ummm "purchased".

I know there are a couple of members on here who are pretty into photography and I'm sure they probably have some killer HDR shots in the bank but even if you're an amateur like me and it's your first try, post up your efforts!

I never get tired of looking at shots done in this style.

Looks great mate, I've done a few in the past using the HDR stuff. This one looks really understated which is great. Lot of people get carried away and wash everything out.

Keep em coming man!!

EDIT: fark, I think I've lost the lot! can't find one!

It most definitely will, any kind of digital slr will. As long as you can shoot in RAW mode (an unprocessed image format from your camera, nikon call it something else though) and you get photomatix pro you'll be in HDR heaven in no time
