Had a look at a mates turbo ute last night after he said it was a bit suggish and was only getting 2 psi boost we found the front wiring connector on the computor had not been fitted refitted connect it goes like the clappers and now boosts up to 7 psi before going back to 5 psi.

I have noticed a significant drop in power just this week. :(

I booked it in for next Tuesday.

Thanks everyone for your insight in this matter, I will certainly be highlighting the solutions you guys have come up with to the service manager  .

Had it in for a look at the power output yesterday.

The service manager said that as the system is all computerised, if there is a problem, the computer would log a fault and they would be able to read it.

Apparently there was no fault registered and that my T was one of the best he had driven in terms of power output.

I'm not entirely convinced :oooh:

It's close to the 15k service - if the problem still persists I'll put my foot down and get them to do more investigating

I had Power Ford check my car over for lack of performance, they agreed that it was not running as quick as majority are, and decided to take a deeper look. When I took delivery they told me that they had found 2 blocked solanoids and now the car is running fine, After driving out the driveway and down the road a little to warm her up I found the car was not running any different, I took it back and the head tech told me to thrash the car and loosen the motor up and it should be fine.

What do you guys think of that?

l would try a different dealer, thrashing the car is hardly technical advice that inspires confidence. lf the motor doesnt feel like its running right then thrashing it inst going to magically fix it.
