The GT/T is a cheap car these days and only 2.5L in capacity, with a small turbo. They are Japans answer to the T (actually, the T is Australias answer to the Skyline), they even have 4 doors - some of them. Young guys with little or no experience drive them, hardly drag racers - as mentioned, pretty much all manuals..... GTR - depends on the driver and how brutal they are on their driveline, round corners - even a 32 would hand you your a$$ ( drivers being equal ) then again, I beat a boosted 33 GTR round Barbs in the rain.. Not the cars fault - driver lacked a pair of b@lls.. AWD= over-rated on the strip. You reckon a manual T is hard to get off the line? bollox, try launching an AWD. Near on impossible to get any grip when pushing decent hp. No power and you aint going to cut any decent 60. Drag tyres, ouch; gearbox won't like you at all.. Throw some MT's on a T and your away with some rpm and a good tuner. T = Drag racing for dummies.. Any car can be quick in the right hands, or slow in the wrong ones.. the list of big $ slow cars on here is endless.. I remember seeing a guy turn up to the drags in a Diablo a few years ago. Everyone stopped to watch his run. He completely stuffed his start and ran a low 15! He did about 6 runs all night, and never cracked into the 14s. When it comes to real quick cars the make of the car has nothing to do it, if its quick good on them. But the reallty is 80% of the jap cars out there think there quick, but most of them arnt.
