F#%K it I'll have a crack at one lol.

They all lose, a mate has a toyota cressida with a stock 1jz with stock auto with small cheap converter, $200 chinese I/c & not much more except a nice new precision turbo & on pump e85 went 10.1 with a sook of a 60ftr. Wont be long & they'll be well into the 9's & all on old mt's. Another FP-T tuned animal!!! I'll see if I can get a vid of it, it's one of my favourite cars & taking into consideration the build including car is only between 15 - 20k now that's impressive!!!

Gtr are only good off take off. If you can be within a car length or 2 off take off any true 280-300kw T would walk all over it.

Yeah, guess that's why GTRs did so poorly in the various Supercar series, and targa events all over the country against the best street cars going around.........they just get walked over. (?????)

That skyline does 20-180 in about 15 seconds. A T with 320-330 will do that in about 10.

:stupid:

GTR's are a better car when bought straight off the line, yes much more expensive but that being the case, they outperform a stock XR6-T (just).

XR6-T's are a family car, that perform better than most performance cars, GTR's are no family car. (this already puts them in 2 completely different leagues)

A worked and tuned XR6-T, done correctly, will smash a GTR.

A worked and tuned GTR will smash an XR6-T.

Not sure where this thread is going to be honest. It's the same old argument.

Think he was talking about straights, and yes a T would have no chance on a track.

FFS people there are 2 DIFFERENT types of cars... 2 door sports car vs a family sedan.. they are both good at what they are supposed to be good at in std form.. whoever has the biggest wallet from then on usually wins the rest..
