I raced a R something Skyline at WSID before my car was edited. It looked & sounded pretty tuff but he only ran a 14.2.

I ran 13.9.

The thing with skylines GTR s is that they were a purpose built race factory race car that cost over a 100k new.If they cant beat a family sedan then there is some thing wrong.there awd for starters so imo theres no comparison unless your racing 1 of the pove rwd models and you need to spend plenty of coin if you want to get 1 of them moving.

Please tell me how a bf auto + 5k = 10sec.....

Easy.

Buy a BF auto, then get $5,000 and go to your local mafia associate and pay them 5K to whak someone with a 10 second car and steal thier fast parts

If there is another way I'd like to hear it..............

They need a bit of work to make decent power. You can make anything fast but the question is how much will it cost.

A late 06 BF auto will see you in the mid 11's for about 4-5K, just to compare a mate of mine bought an R34 GTR few months ago and after spending 8K on the turbos alone plus all the other things (another 5-6K) is hoping to get in to the 11's with a 7K rpm launch control. And that's a GTR a GTS would need a fortune to see 11's.

Skylines are just hyped up, GTR is a GREAT car but it's not a drag car, is a very quick all round car though but people have a wrong idea about them.

Another mate of mine has done a 12.7 in a 33 GTS after going for a full rebuild and bigger turbo, although it wasn't running 100% on the night he will see mid 12's at best when it's running perfectly.

Skylines are good cars but not quick in straight line as your Asian neighbor would led you to believe.

LOL, yeah 10 sec is pushing it, 11 is not that hard though.

"SKYLINES" is a big generalisation, there are some very tough GTRs out there, but piles of sh*tbox GTSTs and the like owned by kids with no dough and 110kw at the wheels....

Last time I was down the drags there was a gtr with all the bits it was running 11 flats all night in a manual Wasnt over done external mods wise just looked tidy. There rare but there are goods ones out there. And those in bf t's running low times generally have spent there fair share to get there to. Trust me!!!

On the other hand they do attract the di(k head factor of the population as well but im sure there would be more than there fair share in T's. But not me though :roflmbo:

I reckon I'd take a hard tune R34 GTR Nur or similar over an F6 if it was an exceptional example.. and by that I mean low km, pristine with 2.8L stroker kit with everything else to go with it and about 400odd awkw.... ive always been a fan of the GTR's, and would massacre acres of kittens for a Z-Tune 34 *drool*

still love me F6 though !!!
