Ive heard so much hype over the Nissan Skyline

but a huge percentage of the time at the drags on wednesday or out on the streets Skylines are being thrashed by Xr6 turbos

Specifically last week I saw a BF MKII smoke an r34 off the lights and all the way down to the next set but whenever I talk to my mates who are into imports or other import loving people im told that im full of sh*t

Does anyone have any actual experiences racing against a skyline in a T or have seen a T race a skyline

I need some voices to back me up!

Annnd im interested to hear the results!

:badabing:

ive got xr6t BA and I had a R33 skyline pull up next to me at the lights..even though my car was stock and his was pretty done up ..he was only nugging away from me and since my car is auto I had him on every gear change lol Im from Christchurch in NZ and we are the capital of skidders (skylines) For what they cost and for how easily parts can be put on them they are a pretty good car for meeting at the lights if your wanting to test out how much power you got well for on the streets anyway unless you have a serious modded car which I dont :badabing: hehe

Well that's one testimony

I suppose it depends whats been done to em

im not sure what had been done to the bf and the r34 but they both sounded monster

People seem to underestimate the falcon sometimes

cant wait to get my BF T and show em what they're missin

id like to see a few more evenly matched falcons and skylines go at it

skylines are sllloooowww, iv raced 2 (on private roads) and smashed both of them, once when my car was standard and his was done up and next was with 330kw but his was pretty maxed out to. I just love the look on their faces :badabing:

sure it was a non turb? a goddy (GTR) would give any car a good go especially if it was the new GTR..you all need to come to Christchurch in NZ its where im from and the capital of skylines you'd be lucky to find a standard skyline lol

Well heres it goes, ive raced a few Skyrice and everytime have beaten them. But they're cheap for a RWD one are they do put down some good numbers.

But here's the problem with them, they attract wanker drivers. Example.

At the local drags, guy turns up with GTR badges, really only a GTT or what ever they call them.

We run of lights, me fully stock and him doing what ever he does.. 1st I have him until he hits full boost and catches me he snaps second and wheelspin does the same up the gears everytime catching me again then when he gets besides me needs to change gears, anyways I won... 14.4 in Darwin (Very Humid Night) I checked his tyres when we finished... He had the STOCK skinny Skyline rims!!! .... /end

Keep the discussion to your experience at the drags guys, openly admitting you were street racing can get you into alot of trouble...

I have a mate with a RWD R33 - it makes ~350rwkw and its a bloody weapon. We are yet to get out to the drags since our last round of mods, but I've got a good feeling he'd be just as fast as my 373rwkw
