hay guys fitted up some 1 inch lowering blocks to my ute today after bolting the wheels back on I knoticed one wheel sits in abit or the other sits out lol, not heaps noticeable doesnt scrub or anything. I didnt bother checking the diff was lined up before I tightened all the bolts just assumed as the blocks sat on that round locator on the leaf my thorts is maybe theres some play there as in the hole in the lowering block is larger. I should have checked 1st but was my first time doing it. could it be anything else I know commohore live axled cars have trouble lowering the rear im going to have another look and loosen the bolts off see if I can move it.

also is it advised to use loctite on the threads?

ok after haveing a fiddle today, there is no play in the blocks, I took them out and it still was uneven it must have been like it before I just never noticed, so I took some measurements but placeing some masking tape from 1 skirt to the other then with a straight edge measured in to the leaf spring and guess what theres 10-12mm differance I know the way I measured it is rough but I did it sevral times each time telling me the drivers side sits in more

Check that the tub sits square on the ute, my ute has never been in an accident but the tub is not quite square. The gap between the cab and the tub is different on each side, this makes the wheels appear to sit differently on each on side. ford told me it was a problem from the factory, I chose not to pursue it out of fear they would only make it worse.

thanks for that mate I think mine is the same as my skirts done line up right as it meets the cab it seams the tray is sitting to one side more but its the opposite the my wheels the tray seams to sit 5mm more the the passenger side but the wheels are doing the same so im confused but I guess it comes down to were you measure it from I think it may be the tub playing mind games with me lol

at the end of the day it drives fine and I cant see any signs of anything ever been bent/fixed/bodged up under the car

The passenger side of the tub sits closer to the cab than the drivers side, and you can see it by how the tub and cab side skirts dont line up. Also the top of the tub skirts that meet the body are cut substantially thinner then the top of the skirts on the cab, so because my tub sits awkwardly and both the skirts have been cut to thin, the drivers side skirts pretty much line up and the passenger one sits way to far in.

But as you were saying, I had a quick look and the passenger rim does sit out further than the drivers, and I put this down to poor placement of my tub, it sits over all to the right by a few mm and is fitted on a weird angle.
