I got myself some rims and when I got them I had 245 45 18's on them and hte front was clearly rubbing on some part of the suspension and I could hear it when I drove and also feel it in the steering

so I went and got myself 225 40 18's for the front and I looked at everyhting there cant possibly be any rubbing but still there is a noise and tight steering

this has go me stumped to the max

what could it be????

thanks samson

put the old rims n tyres back on and see if the problems still there, the abs light coming on is very wierd. as mick said, check the offset, jack the front end up and see it the wheels are spinning freely and give them a shake to check the bearing, check power steering and brake fluid lol, look for signs of rubbing everywhere because when the cars jacked up the wheel moves outwards and may not rub anymore, check the inner wall of the tyre and the inside face of the rim incase its been rubbing on the caliper, apart from that its got me stumped to, unless the rubbing noise is cheap tyres and theres actually a problem with your steering rack/pump
