A friend told me that a novated lease is only worthwhile if you do lots of km's and are in the high income bracket. We do lots of km's but my partner (who will be buying the car) isn't in that bracket just yet, so should we give novated leasing a miss then? I noticed significant drops in the 200sx market when they came in for nsw. Depreciation sucks on these but after they get to 20odd thousand it should slow down. But depreciation is the reason I could get a good condition 2 year old BF2 so I cant complain too much! It was 48k new fully loaded with all options at Ford employee discount. The guy had payed out $36100 on the lease 2 days before I picked it up :S My BA Mk2 Typhoon was $59k new + $16k in mods and is just under 4 years old. It's not worth even half of that now!!
