I'm also sick of people giving credibility to the girl's story because 4 corners did it. They have no more credibility than any other journalistic program. In this matter they have proven they did a piss poor job in reporting the truth of the matter.

The slut's boss, the motel owner has now come out saying that all the palyers are welcome back, but the slut isn't. He confirmed the story that she bragged about the incident, despite it being a sackable offence to have a fling with the guests in any way. He took it further, implying she had commented before the incodent that she would have it off with as many of the players she could.

As far as 9 and the NRL getting rid of MJ, they obviously didn't have a choice, but they clearly could be doing more to defent him. Their silent sacking has added fuel to the fire, with more parents and sponsors leaving the sport as a result. If they defended it a bit more, those people may actuall see that the incident isn't what is being reported.

On another note, watch Willy Mason get yet another slap on the wrist for his repeated ofences,

I agree about Four Corners, they have lost a sh*tload of credibility from this. They have now reverted to tabloid journalism...they just need to move it to the 6:30pm timeslot so that it fits in perfectly.

Got a bit of a laugh about this article from Joe Hildebrand from the Daily Telegraph. Stems back to my point about being in a room with a dozen blokes and one girl... I mean, I'd be in heaven if I had 12 girls and just me but having a 12:1 sausage ratio is not something I want to be a part of.! Then again its hard enough to satisfy 2 or 3 women at once so maybe 12 isnt such a great idea either LOL

There is a dark underbelly to the Matthew Johns group sex scandal that no one dares to mention, but at last the truth must be said: It is not at all gay.

I mean the last time I had sex with 11 other men in the room we all agreed it was the most massively heterosexual thing we’d ever done in our lives. Even Darrin said he was ready to give girls another try.

Yet the whole episode has raised certain questions, as evidenced in an exchange I heard recently:

Bloke 1: So if I’ve had a threesome does that make me gay?

Bloke 2: It depends on if you were really concentrating on the girl.

Bloke 1: What girl?

Indeed, if there is a recurring theme to the tales of group sex among rugby league players it is that the girl involved is generally ignored while the teammates just chat amongst themselves.

So why not just cut the red tape and leave girls out of it altogether? That way the boys can slap and tickle each other all they want, safe in the knowledge that they are unquestionably straight.

Of course I am no expert on this subject, as personally I have never actually had a threesome, foursome or, for that matter, twelvesome. I realise now that this is because I have been going about it all the wrong way by trying to do it with two girls, rather than the entire back row of the Cronulla Sharks.

As we have heard from many esteemed commentators, much of this has been instituted into the rugby league way of life, but there are traps for beginners.

Firstly, whatever you do don’t have sex with one bloke at a time, which is still a bit on the gay side. Rather, make sure the whole team’s involved: That makes it not only totally straight but can also really improve your kicking game.

Secondly, never ever come forward about it. Part of being an out and proud heterosexual is that you never speak of the male dominated group sex you take part in. Amazingly, even in this day and age, some people might have their doubts about how totally straight you are.

Thirdly, if one of your mates does come out and takes the fall for the whole group make sure you leave him to hang out to dry. Sure, we all know about brotherhood and loyalty but hey - a lot of things were said in the heat of passion that night.

And fourthly, if you’ve been hung out to dry over a group sex scandal don’t feel like your friends have abandoned you. They probably just haven’t heard about it.

Of course these are just general guidelines and may not apply to every situation. For a more definitive analysis I turned to Joern Stormfrenner from Vienna University’s Centre for Sexual Divergence.

“We do have a listing for the 2002 Cronulla Sharks but it is under ‘D’ for ‘Definitely not gay’,” Dr Stormfrenner said.

“And judging by the size of the brainpan it’s doubtful they could correctly match pastels - which is why we’re so confused about Wayne Cooper.”

And league bosses are equally adamant that there is nothing gay about the players.

“Most of our boys don’t even know the meaning of the word ‘homosexuality’,” legendary front rower Bill “The Bruiser” Bateman said.

“I mean granted they don’t know the meaning of a lot of words but that’s definitely one of them.”

It is also an indisputable fact that male-dominated group sex is not one of the five known medical causes of homosexuality, namely piano lessons, shrubbery, Feargal Sharkey, Baked Alaska and season four of Nip/Tuck.

Psychologist Isaac Mandelbaum also said people who saw *beep* erotic tendencies in league players’ desire for group masturbation was unfounded.

“There is no scientific evidence to suggest these people are homosexuals,” he said.

“In fact I’m not even sure they’re *beep* sapiens.”
