Toyo PROXES 4's will hold up quite well. I had those with 330rwkw and they were fantastic, however I'd get the Toyo T1Rs if you can spend a little more, they hook up 2nd gear with over 360rwkw. If you go to Tyre Power you can get them for around $320 and $350 respectively because they're a major supplier for Toyo. Anywhere else you'll pay over $500 a corner!

:stupid:

I thought that the Proxes 4 held up well till I went over mid 300s then I got the T1Rs and I couldn't lose traction in 2nd on decent roads.

R-Spec, IC you have 360 under you foot, what r u riding on?

Rears are on PROXES 4's at the moment and fronts are still the original Dunlops.

They held grip well but now that they're bald they obviously lose traction easily. I'm gonna try the T1Rs now like NVYDF6 has got :spoton:

Thanks for the replies, so many brands to choose from :nono:

So here is a list of our popular choices:

Kumhos KU36

Bridgestone Adrenalin

Toyo Proxes 4, T1R and R1R

Nexen n3000

Yokohamas s Drive

Pirelli Dragons

Michelin Pilot Preceda 2

Choices, choices, choices. What's your favourite?

I have used KU36 at the track/road (good value semi slick but sidewalls a bit thin on circuit direction change) and Adrenalins???(Don't bother. An ok road tyre but don't provide anywhere near the grip of the KU36....trust me)

However, neither come close to the grip of the Falken Azenis RT615's when warm, for the money. It is in a league of it's own and the only thing stickier are full R spec tyres like R888's or RE55's but get too expensive to use as a daily tyre and pick up too much crap on the road.

I just got 4 Falken FK452 and very happy so far. Handling is great traction is good too. They should get even better after few hundred kms once the top layer wears off.
