ebxmple Member 1,322 Member For: 16y 9m 28d Posted 25/05/09 11:46 AM Share Posted 25/05/09 11:46 AM Can be done in under 2 hrs depending on where you take it. With just the ignition on can you here the him module working when you turn the dial from cold to hot and vice versa? If you can here the him motor working it will be the mixer shaft gear has snapped off. You can actually see the broken shaft if you know where to look. I have heard rumours that people can do them in 20mins without pulling dash out but that's all they are RUMOURS. You have to hold the mixer flap edges when pulling the shaft out and when putting it back in otherwise it will break and this cant be done with the dash in. We all need our heaters I guess, especially down here in Melbourne.

I <3 Bananas frothin, wont make me faster but I guess itl allow me to be warm and defrost my windscreen thus resulting in a longer life span

It will do this for a day or so - then come right. Any idea of the cause of this one?
