My original tune was set to be finished off Tuesday, but because the exhaust was flowing too well (believed to be due to the cat) it was suffering from sever boost creep. My tuner thought it appropriate that the wastegate mod be done. Its just been done and they're putting it all back together at the moment, but NOW the problem is the wastegate pipework on the CES dump. Its too small and doesn't quite open up the wastegate properly. My tuner was on the phone to CES just before and they said a few modifications around the face (ie: belmouthing it) could fix the problem. They're going to try that tomorrow, if it doesn't work... here are my options...1) Simply replace with a 4" dump2) CES also make a split dump pipe which has a 2" wastegate pipe instead of the 1.X" whatever it isOriginally I wanted to keep away from the turbulant 4"er, but at the moment I'm not too sure. Has anyone with the CES system had this problem before? Kinda disappointing as I've always thought highly of the CES system.Cheers,Jarrod. Its a fantastic exhaust and am very impressed with the design. The problem could be caused by a) using a wastegate valve which is too large regardless of the dump pipe, orb) after speaking to Trevor at CES (who was very helpful mind you) its quite possible I may have a gayspec actuator which has too much throw in it

Haven't found much info on the 3.5/2" setup, what do people think of them???

Looks like it might be the only sensible option if they can't widen the mouth of that wastegate pipe...?

My car is a daily and one thing I didn't want to sacrifice is good response. The dump pipe will be sent off Monday, wish me luck.
