I wanna know the same thing because I wanna buy the X3 box, I could imagine that the economy would improve a little bit on light load due to a leaner fuel mix and advanced spark timing but boot it and it most certainly wont thanks to more power being produced.

yes it did change. on std, I get around 12-14 L/100, with a 10psi tune I avg around 16-18 L/100...and mostly because I get up it alot more. If I drive it very slow, I.e shift before 2500rpm, very light throttle, I have kept it down to 10.5L/100 around town and in the 9s on the highway.

So, depends on your style. If you drive it hard, it will get thristy. I doubt the consumption is that much higher, however, your driving style will change with the flash. Mainly because you wont believe the power you now have access to.

In saying that, forget fuel bills and get the damn flasher and unlock what you are missing out on...or better still, go get a custom tune.

It has alot to do with the way you drive - my car makes 373rwkw and I'm averaging 13L/100km. I can assure you though, when the pedal goes down I can almost watch the needle move on the fuel gauge!
