turbo compressors work on the principal of hot air expanding, not just outright flow of exhaust gasses - if that makes sense.

The knockers should do a bit of looking around there are some very quick vehicles about both in AUS and the USA the trick is finding the correct info to work out turbo to use etc not just a case of bolting what ever together and see what happens.

I look left... Hmmm. I look right... Hmmm. Up, down and round and round.... Yep, they are still gay.

It’s not really a new idea.

I remember seeing STS in the US starting to do this back in 2003. Didn't think much of it back then and still don’t.

I am a Turbo guy through and through. But in this circumstance if I had to choose an under bonnet super charger kit or rear mounted turbo kit. I would go with the super charger. The super charger kit is going to be cheaper and perform better than a rear mounted turbo.

You have to agree you have pointed out a lot of problems you would have to overcome that would be non exsitant on a "regular" set up. And since you are not going for huge power I really don't see the need to try something different. Is the thousands of extra dollars to get this to work properly really worth it, just so you can say you have a rear mount set up. When power will be no different than then a cheaper side mount set up?

Well I now have most of the answers to my problems and are just waiting for some contacts in the USA to get the turbo specs require based on my engine specs,I find this sort of thing very interesting and different and not much different to 23 years ago when I was fitting turbos and playing with them and most people though they were more trouble than there worth and look at them now go figure.

As far as cost gos with some stuff from USA and the rest put together myself total cost $1500.00 that's with bit of a buffer and I havent seen a all new standard turbo kit for that.
