With the right tyres and a good launch it will be pretty easy - especially if you throw a littel jungle juice in there!

I keep getting told the same thing right tyres and good launch....it sounds so much easier than it is...With them running the pro tree it's hard, I try to wait and take my time to launch but every time that light goes green I seem to be rushing to take off.

I am keen to here this car at full noise....

Lol, yes I know it is easier said than done, I've had my time at the drag strip in a manual!

This set-up will make it much easier to get off the line on boost though Jimmy, much easier than the ZF

hey everyone, im just wondering how to take off at WSID? My XR6 Turbo is a BA its a 4 speed auto, I want to go to the creek this wednesday. I've got 313rwkw, u obviously use sequential sports shift mode and stall it up before the light goes green at what rpm would you flick it from 1st gear to 2nd gear when the light goes GREEN, and do u flat stick the car on green, all help will be appreciated thanks.

depends on what rubber you are running and how the car is tuned ? Launching these things is about the balance between not bogging down or minimising wheelspin. Best get to the track for some practice to find that balance

BTW :beerchug:

Go when you and the car are ready. Reaction time means jack.

I was the same mate, once I decided to go when I was good and ready? woo hoo.

the 4 speed is great for just leaving it in drive and flooring it. let it do the work. it'll shift just fine.

Had the car at CV today for the final race tune.

Dyno graph speaks for itself. Nice vertical power curve.
