I wonder if anyone has heard of a supercharged and turbo'd 6??? Can it be done? Bit like rootin' your granny though, it is technically possible but... blacksheep Member 12 Member For: 17y 1m 7d Posted 04/05/09 06:23 AM Author Share Posted 04/05/09 06:23 AM A bit like rooting my granny in the fact that people will think I'm strange or the fact that I'll have to dig six foot of dirt before I can do it? I'm assuming the fitting of the supercharger hardware will be the easy bit, with hundreds of hours of tuning being my major issue? I'd have to go digging too Have a look at some of the massive powered cars on here, it gets to the point that with a turbo swapover everything else starts breaking before you can use all the available power. What's your inspiration? To reduce the low-down lag? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/57352-supercharging-i6t/#findComment-872051 Share on other sites

My inspiration is wanting something that no one else has got, or at least something that is very rare. I do understand how much power these cars can make with normal mods, but I dont wanna follow the leader... Because if not, I just don't see why you would bother? Fair call on wanting to be different but surely there are other ways? Paint it baby sh1t brown…!It’s not - easy, cheap, practical, won't give you awesome power or increased drivability, won't even look much good IMO....What about twin turbo? That would be different and far better than a blower! Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/57352-supercharging-i6t/#findComment-872068 Share on other sites
