hi guys I need some input, I dont seem to be getting much boost :spoton: , I have taken the solenoid off and clean with wd40, still no change. I recently put and air breather on the end of the BOV could that be the issue? from what I have read throuh other posts, it shouldnt be the issue. Some knowledge would be greatly appreciated. p.s I have checked all piping and clamps no leak.

did it start playing up after you vented the bov - I did mine and didnt quite line the joiner to the throttle body back up right and had a boost leak - fixed it up and all is sweet now

If it is the waste gate it will have to be jammed open not allowing the turbo to build boost. Sure you havent put the BOV in backwards!

Hi there,

I had the actuator clip come off. and it was exactly like you describe. The actuator wasn't connected. Check that. You should be able to see if it's connected by getting underneath, but putting it back on might be easier is you remove the turbo, 2 hour job on a hoist.

cheers,

Chris.
