Definitely looking at increasing output...

The APS 330kw Green and Mean Phase II package might just whet my whistle for starters.... The package includes larger injectors, larger cat, better exhaust, cold air box, bigger intercooler and a retuned chip for some real performance grunt I think they are quoting high 12's for qtr mile times...... And with an engineer's report, its all legal on the street.

The above, and looking at fitting DBA disks to improve braking.

then maybe some mods to gearbox for sharper shifts, change in diff ratio to improve qtr mile times... hmmmm can keep going with this..... but I'll stop.

If I can get mid 12's in a car that behaves itself when driven easily, and is street legal for under $50k, it would have to be the deal of a lifetime for a performance car enthusiast!

Can't wait till the package is available for the ute! Later this year I'm told!

I haven't had any brake problems whatsoever, but this may be because I ordered the Premium jobbies. They're very good and certainly up to the job time and again.

I've done the Herrod Suspension and it's great. It has got rid of alot of the body roll that the stock set up has. The reduction in height is something to be careful of though, as the front overhang from the spoiler means staying back from the kerb and not approaching ramps very quickly.

I've also done the Herrod Exhaust which makes a good sound. It's from the Cat back, in stainless, and is a high quality unit. Supposed to give around 14rwkw, which is probably about right, as it was dyno'd at 195rwkw before the next mod....an APS unichip. The Unichip was fitted at around 15,000km, with the engine run in well and truly. The mid range and top end is excellent and a reasonable increase over standard - no adjustment is made to the performance below 2500rpm. Peak power is now 229rwkw so boogie is the now the dance of the day. Roll on Stage 2......

personally I think that to spend 2 or 3 grand on a brake upgrade is a toss.Unless you r going to be doing trackdays and the like, then the standard setup is ok.

2 or 3 grand? Ive just spend 6! On the front end only!

Im my opinion there is no such thing as overkill in the braking department.

The standard brakes are crap, just go for a wander over to the shuddering thread to confirm this.

Brakes first for me, im leaving the suspension for a while, XR8 air cleaner is nearly ready. I dont want to chip it yet as mine is still too young.

Love the idea of more herbs.

Hate the idea of no warranty.

Hate the idea of big bucks required.

I don't do anymore track work.

I'm quite content with the brake performance for everyday use ('cept for the shudder)

I reckon the suspension is a great compromise for general road and touring use. (But it would need the usual upgrades to springs, dampers and roll control for anything other than the odd little club outing)

Great engine package, but YES.............I'll be in the line-up for either the APS or Chip Torque upgrade.

Like they say.......luv is the drug and we do luv power.......

Brakes: DBA's, tax cheque time.

Chip mod: After warranty period, car will be well run in, I'll be well run in with the car also, and it gives me time to sweeten up EID :D

my ute is an everyday driver (700 to 800km's a week) its never going to be raced.

Im not entirely satisfied with the stock power of the T6 so im very interested in chipping the car but as far as any other mods like brakes etc, there not a total priority for me.

Ive just got to figure out what chip to use.
