hey guys I was wanting to put a Bee R rev limiter in my car .. ive been told they go straight into the ecu and you can pick you r red line and so on..

was wondering if anyone knows about these and could tell me if its possible to fit one onto my BA mk2 6t ute ???

would be really helpful

for people that dont know wat it is it cuts spark not fuel. as it is now! it gets annoying after a while I dont wanna run the engine lean!

or if there is any other method I can get it done by the ecu?? so I got a constant red line that I can bounce off??

small video to see what it does

cheers all!

An edit combined with a custom tune will reset the rev limiter to higher than stock & will also give you a nice soft cut-out instead of the factory hard cut-out.

Turk save your money as the car comes with a dual stage rev limiter, that I doubt you can diable without an edit (flash tuner).

I doubt you will be able to easily fit an aftermarket limiter as these cars are fairly smart.

It seems a little obvious, but I thought I should mention in case no one else has…..

If you do that (ignition cut rev limit) with a Catalytic Convertor in the exhaust, you’ll destroy it in about 40seconds. The rest of the damage and dramas will follow from that point.

Valve bounce!

You'll destroy the engine with a hard cut like that.

Why would you want to be bouncing off the limiter all the time anyway? It will be making stuff all power. Why abuse the car?
