Yeah mate, how does the saying go?

If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is...

If I were you, I'd email him anyway and see. He probably left out a number before the 6. As in $16,900...?

If you don't want it, I'll get my old man to buy it for $7K and resell it for me :innocent:

hahahaha, oh well Dan... Maybe... :beerchug:

Cheers

EDIT: Just looking at the T post icon - Too good to be true? Make sure you can contact the seller via a phone call...

And then he says, "I cannot get in touch with you if you will use my phone number to call me so please email me directly at: umerasi@aol.com"

A little suss...

I emailed the guy asking if the $6,900 price tag was serious and why he has it so cheap.

"Price is $6900. The car is in showroom condition, with no scratches on it, no damage, full service history. Garage kept. I am selling the car so cheap because I am in United Kingdom with my job and I am going through a divorce. I am a VerifiedTrader so the transaction will be done through TradingPost. If you're ready for this purchase, I need to know your full name and address, as soon as I have them I will start the official procedure, and TradingPost will notify you about this. TradingPost will send you an Invoice with all the info you will need to complete the transaction. Also a 10 days refund policy will be included so if you will not like the car you will receive your money back. Thanks Donna"

Translation: I'd rather sell it for SFA and cost myself than let him keep it!

What was it? An Xr6T? Friend said she was looking at an 02 Monaro for 10k and that the owner apparently lived in the UK. Friend found out that the car was registered in her husbands name also. I'd say scam.

I rekon that the "official" email from tradingpost would be from an email account that would appear to be legit yet would be absolutely fake as f*ck. Was a similar kind of thing going on with paypal not long ago, fake emails being sent out looking like they came from paypal themselves, probably got a few suckers but in the end the really bad grammar gave it away.

Was an 07 XR5T with ~30km's. reminds me of the good ol' ebola monkey man scams. It's been removed now, so either sold for an absolute bargain or removed.
