My federals werent giving me traction anymore for obvious reasons (check sig. lol.) I wanted more of a all rounder because of the amount of rain we get up this way & the semi were only really usuful after a good skid or an hour worth of driving. Not very often you get that chance when someones being a hero at the lights (not that I provoke). Has anyone tried the kumho's with thought either way. They have all the good aspects of a good street tyre with added longevity wet weather performance with better dry condition traction. Plus they will look good!!! Plus I only paid $286 incl freight up to fnq. Better than $500 for the federals that I was quoted locally for. I think if there not up to job I might play with a few options on there. If anything is crap it wont take long for me to chew threw them.

Is that a 234/345? Nothin wrong with that 1/4 time on those tyres with that power I'd be happy to run that on street tyres!!!I'm still glad I went the 18's it gives me so many more options tyre wise & price wise. Guess I just have to drop ii a little to fill those guards. There are so many options out there its sometimes frustrating trying to make a decision & then after you make it your still left wondering if you made the right one. There is always a compramise. At least the look the part. haha.

Only had them for for a few weeks so cant talk about longevity. Grip is great in wet and dry imo, though I have alot less kw's then you. Only got them on the rears but alot quiter then then falkens on the fronts. They definitely have a good look about them also

Coulndnt live with that especially after changing them every 6mths. After that compramise.

With a wear rating of 180 they were always going to be sticky and are very well priced. Sidewalls a little thin in my opinion for a dedicated track tyre but you'd never notice on the road.If you want a tyre that will really impress try the Falken Azenis RT215 (even better than the current 615's). Still the stickiest tyre for the price I've ever used, and a very stiff sidewall perfect for track days.
