yeah I would be going to a different workshop mate.. if the car is running fine at the moment I would not spend another $400 on getting it retuned... I would spend the $400 and a little bit more getting the flash box and going and getting it retuned properly when you do the springs and injectors done IMO.. if I remember RDP do there own flash boxes too and do good work... cheers :banghead:

Take it to another workshop n get another opinion, I doubt your valve springs would be holding you back at 210rwkw. Mine are only just starting to hold me back now at 296rwkw. The program your mate used is called VCM suite, essentially you can tap into the computer n play with all the factory settings without the need for a flashbox.

I dont know that much but 210rwkw just sounds way too low for valve springs n a fuel pump to be holding u back.

You can pick up second hand flash boxes, just make sure that the seller has set it to factory tune.

Or you can pick up a new Capa flash tuner (bit steep though) and use the generic tunes, they're not as good as a proper tune but they'd probably make a bit more of a difference.

And like I said on monday, talk to Lee at RDP motorsport up in redcliffe, he knows what he's talking about.

I've also heard good things about Elite Auto, I'm not sure where they're located though. One of your ricedriver friends will know :P

Yeah id be visiting another tuner to see what they say. valve springs and a fuel pump holding you back at 210rwkw doesnt sound right.
