hey guys was just wondering if there was any reason why the fg intake manifold would not fit onto my ba 03........

just wondering if it could be a different alternative to a plenum setup,

I seen in perth street car mag simon was getting big mumbo's out of his fg mule on the standard manifold.....

cheers for replies

no they arent the ports are the same, you dont need a plenum to make power, I went 540rwkw through a auto on a stock be plenum, I am putting a fg plenum on it now because they flow the most equal out of anything, that was found out after many hours on a flow bench,

its not worth the trouble because of different fuel rail and injectors and throttle body and so on,

cheers guys, just a thought.... just not really wanting to splash out the 1500 on a plenum without being too sure of what a stocker can handle easily......

cheers again

the intake ports and bolt pattern on the intake side is the same as BA/BF, whats inside the cylinder head is different on FG, which is maybe where TOCCHI got confused.

However, the exhaust manifolds are not interchangeable BA/BF - FG, completely different.
