the welding is as good as it gets.
dude I hate to burst your bubble and I get no pleasure from bagging others welding but the welding shown is far from as good as it gets.I would seriously suggest you trial these things before you try selling them as from my experience surgetanks mounted down there take a pretty severe beating and looking at the mounting bracket and material choice (stainless is very brittle) I would be inclined to think that it could crack pretty easily. I know this because I have tested such setups in the past.

Hi Buggzy. Please take what we are saying as constructive cristcism. I certainly mean no offense to you or your product, but I would really like for the mount to have a wider base and substantial vertical bracing (eg:- C Section) to be added.

Normal vibration and shock loading will take its toll on the unsupported mount. The stress and twisting due to Gforces will be extreme when you consider that it will be 3-4Kg (At a guess) and the mount is not in a central position .

I really feel that there is amarket for your product. I for one would love to have the Rapid and Process West Bling. But I like many cannot afford or justify the billet product. I am intersted in purchasing one if this area is rectified.

I look forward to your response..

I have sold over 150 surge tanks of different sizes and to suit different cars this last year and never had one complaint or problem with any of them. The bracket on this tank is strong enough to hold tank full and vibration forces, it’s not designed to have 100kg rocks pelted at it and neither are any other surge tanks that are made. My Tig welding is far from poor, I weld around 4 days a week 8 hours a day and have full qualifications to show. Yes a robot could probably be more consistent, but if you don’t like what I have to offer, then just go spend $1200 on a alloy one from plasman?
I am offering here a quality alternative to the excessively over priced tank already available on the market.
All my items come with a lifetime warranty, I will repair or replace item if it cracks or there is issues with it that are my fault.
Cheers, Nathan.B

Lifetime warranty, you can't get much better than that. And I can picture it now. People ducking under the car, getting a look at the surge tank and commenting "gee, that welding doesn't quite look as good as it gets". Hey Buggzy, can you offer these in HPC? Maybe that will satisfy some peoples perception of what's decent.

do the cars fuel hoses/pipes have to be cut or modified to fit? or do they stay standard and still connect like some of the other brands?

I very strongly recommend against this mounting point.
It is in a non-protected position.
I had one fitted in that position in my old car and in a very mild collision it ruptured, leaked fuel, and I was extremely lucky.
In a major accident it could be extremely dangerous.

Personally i don't like how the builder is claiming on Ebay that Rapid's and Process West's surge tanks sell for $1200.
There surge tanks come complete with all hoses and connections. Yours does not.
There surge tanks are $950 and $925 respectively with a pump. Yours doesn't include a pump in your advertisment.
Don't go comparing you're product without a pump and all connections to theres with a pump and all connections.
Don't make false statements about the price the others sell for either.

We are not fools and know the other suppliers, their pricing and quality.
