I got one quoted for Melbourne to NT, and from CEVA, it was $300 more than Auto-Logistics.

I'd send a quote in to Auto-Logistics.. They got back to me by email around 8:30pm when I sent it in only an hour before hand.

PM GCTXR6 mate, he hooked a brother up back when I was considering cars from over east.

From memory it would have set me back a little under a grand from Sydney to Perth, so Id imagine Melbourne would be a little cheaper :stupid:

:roflmbo: Cost should be offset by the cheaper stamp duty you will pay in the eastern states anyway AFAIK.

Should be on or abouts the 1k mark

just make sure whoever you go through has insurance on the car while travelling door to door

Hey RTD,

I bought my F6 from Canberra about a year ago now and had it transported by truck by Autotrans. Its cheaper for rail but there had been two derailments within 4 months at the time so I though f*ck THAT haha,

Yer it got here relatively fast, 4-5 days and was sweet when it got here besides a flat tyre wich I pumped up and was good again.

that was $1100 well spent given how much cars cost over east compared to west coast prices.

hope that helps

I used autotrans from adeliade to perth $721 inc gst I was quoted nearly a grand from tnt and adelaide car express came on the train and was unmarked on arival :beerchug:

my car at the time was about 5k cheaper than all the dealer cars with no options, cost me stamp duty and rego at the price I paid in sa :innocent: I got sick at looking at dealer cars in perth that were all eastern states cars any way :bye:

watched it for about 2 months on car sales.com then made an offer subject to a raa inspection and the rest is history

cheers for all the advice fellas, gonna go thru auto logistics I think they quoted $1251 door to door, dont really have enough time to check them all out halfway up to karratha at the mo for a job, but pretty happy with that price, like you were saying GCTXR6 you make your money back by buying out of WA, so hopefully by the time I get back home ill have a nice F6 to mod

look forward to seeing ya's on the road

thanks again

I was quoted $1350 to ship a 2.5t 4wd in a container yesterday, so i'd say the price you have been quoted is pretty good! :crybaby:
