I just got my bf ute lowerd, not located near you but too give you an idea on how much I paid $550 for reset rears and new front springs and I shopped around a bit and that's the cheapeast I could find, drift13 just said he used wholesale suspension but I found them the dearest as they quoted me $750 for the same thing

Mate if you want to go all out pedders do "extreme A" suspension kit and few people about the place are getting it done and say it is awesome it has 32 setting I believe bit pricey at 2600 but what I hear is that it is worth it..

I would not be getting reset leaf springs on a FG. With the issues around axel tramping, reset rears will only contribute to the problem. In my opinion, the only option to lower the rear of an FG is a set of kings superlows or see Pedders for their pricey set up. In addition to this, the poleurathane bushes must also be replaced.

Im not sure if the Pedders option is worth all that money.

im with HIRO, I just wouldn't trust stock leafs reset. for a little bit more you can get the right part to do the job. the pedders extreme A option is pricey but good, but I would just go for the budget pedders setup at around $800-900 which is new leafs and front springs and some kit for the front I believe, although that may be extra I can't remember.

Pedders have quoted me 1000 for new front springs and new rear leafs and a wheel aligment.

I am only going sl though.

I am very worried about the cv issue though. I hope by putti g in new leafs and not resetting the old ones I might get away with it.

I would not have any concerns with reset rear leaves. Axle tramp is a concern but it seems to be happening with std and aftermarket leaves.. My old ones were reset to about SSL height and never had a problem... For sure I could be the odd one out, but I doubt it..

$2600 and 26 settings for suspension ? I am thinking this could be good value in a pissing contest at the local hangout, or on the track.. but that would be about it :)
