Hi everyone,

I have a good friend who is suffering from some hardcore depression and has recently tryed to top himself. He owns a BA xr6 turbo ute and used to be right into driving etc and loved his car, so to take his mind off it all and try and get his stoke back for his car I bought him a new intercooler for the ute ( its a monza one) as he had to quit his job to go into therapy and get away from the cause of some of his problems so he has no money to speak of. Can anyone tell me if I need to get different hot side and cool side piping for it to fit properly or can I use the standard piping of the BA? If I need different piping is there anyone out there with some second hand stuff that they want to sell to me at a cheap price so I can fit this thing up for him? if not can any suppliers help me out a bit here? I am trying to be a good friend and do some good here and it seems to be helping his progress heaps and is giving him some motivation back, but I dont have heaps of cash at the moment after getting the intercooler.

Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated. :roflmbo:

Awesome, thanks heaps guys eh! So is it just a case of loosening the piping and swinging it higher to fit the outlet on the monza as its higher than the standard intercooler?

You may need to move the horns, I left mine where they were and turned them upside down this has caused them to fill with water and sound like 2 animals mating.

horn will be fine. the brackets may be a bit tricky though, they kinda dont fit. what I did was buy a strip of aluminium and make my own. make them up roughly, do them up tight and then bend the cooler into place. ;)
