Mr Walker - ahhh, lotsa wheelspin which explains it then. Maybe I should have emphasied more my words if it's driven properly. Many drivers have the power under the hood but will lose out in a short drag every time if they don't know how to deliver it to the ground.

Got another one!

Same road, different direction.

LSI 255kw, not sure what year, fairly new looking.

Side by side for a while, back and forth, me in front of him, him in front of me, just general jockying in traffic coming up to a set of lights. Little squirts before we get there.

This guy is about my age ( ) and we've already exchanged glances.

At the lights, traction control off this time, waiting for what seemed a lifetime.

GREEN!

He's got me off the line by 1/2 a length ... I'm gone, I'm thinking as my baby winds up in 1st ... hang on, this can't be right ... I'm drawing up along side.

Slam her into 2nd (sorry baby) and I'm just in front of him. He's staying with me and I'm pushing my foot through the floor, praying for some more go, wondering if this was such a good idea ...

3rd now and I'm increasing my lead to about 3/4 of a length. Really scared about the speed I must be doing, don't know, can't look down ... anyway, too late to stop now.

4th and he's done! Maybe he backed off, but he's behind me and that's all that matters. My heart is pounding and he's pulled in behind me in my lane ... seems happy enough to sit there for a while.

I look back at him and nod, incapable of doing much else at this stage. I think I even saw him nod at me? Anyway, he sits there for a while and then move over into another lane and takes off past me.

This is becoming an addiction that I must resist, but it's just such damn good fun. Thank you Ford, thank you, thank you thank you!

My friend has a VX SS with VY SS engine / exhaust system (extra 10kw 2 235). Driving through a series of lights and I was praying for a red, I was looking over and he just looked straight. Got greens all the way through ('bout 5 sets of lights  ) when does that ever happen?? I found out later he was hoping for greens because he didn't want me to drag him off (he's been many a time in my car) - for some reason he reckons I will kill him off the line - I genuinely thought it would be close.

Anyway, got my chance later that night. The light had been red for a while (3 lane strip - both on the outsides) I've pulled up at the light and he was rolling to try and pull ahead when it turned green.

GREEN

I put the foot down, the car bogs down not enough juice, he immediately hits the front, I had pretty much caught up at the top end of 1st hit the front in second, in third 'bout a car lenght in front ... sweet

Anyway that was my first (worthy opponent).

Ken, take the traction off!

If its dry, your fine if its wet ... well  the chances are your pants will be 2. 4 those of you who don't own a T or punted one in the wet (even with traction on) it is no joke when people put any of these faces up  on the post it is literally what it is like.
