Prices there are cheap and their pound is low at the moment which gives us good buying power...Are there any companies that can help you out with it?Reckon it would be worthwhile? Posted 25/04/09 10:47 AM Share Posted 25/04/09 10:47 AM what are you looking at importing? In the UK everyone looked at buying abroad because the UK car market is so high.Im sure there would be some specialist companies out there to do the hard yards for you including all shipping and paperwork. Ive often thought about having to move back to the UK if stuff didn't work out here, would have to take the ute, obviously. Going the other way there is alot of paperwork to get it on the UK roads to start with. Then there is the servicing of the car and sourcing the parts of a car that's not local. Next the speedo is not in MPH, could be an issue. The shipping and logistics is fairly simple, small fortune though once you pay the transport and taxes. Would be awesome to be driving something unique.
